Generic SuperDB Tables

A generic SuperDB table is not associated with any students and does not contain student demographic data. These tables can store information like a list of local doctors, all school lockers and their combinations, or the various departments within a school. A generic SuperDB table can function like a spreadsheet, or you can fill demographic fields in the database using generic SuperDB fields.

On the School > Demographics > SuperDB tab, you can view and edit entries. For more information about the features of the Generic SuperDB screen, refer to the diagram and table below:

  • Table: Select the Generic SuperDB Table to view.
  • SuperDB Layout: Select a layout to view.

    Views are created in classic Administrator's Plus.

Click on Contains/Begins with to toggle between the two.

  • Select the Edit Icon  to edit a SuperDB Entry.
  • Click the Checkmark to save the changes. Select the X to cancel the changes.
  • Select to delete an entry.

    If the user does not have the right to delete entries, the icon will be greyed out.

  • Select Send to Export  to export the data to Excel.
  • Select Add to add a new SuperDB Entry.
