If you want students' honor roll status to print on report cards, you must run the honor roll first.
To run the honor roll:
- In Report Cards, click Stat Reps > 1. Honor rolls.
- In the Statistical Reports: Honor Rolls dialog box, click option 7. Inspect / change universal HR specifications.
- In the Statistical Reports: Universal HR Specifications dialog box, set the universal honor roll specifications to indicate which courses to use, how weight and GPA factor should be used, and the number of decimal places to use for the honor roll average. Then click Done.
These specifications also control the column averages on the report cards.
- Select Print honor roll #1, your highest honor roll, and then click Next.
The honor rolls for each grade level must be run in order from highest to lowest (Print honor roll #1, Print honor roll #2, etc.)
- Set the marking period, average limits, comment code limits and minimum grade limits specifications for the honor roll you selected in step 4, and then click Done. For the highest honor roll, select YES for specification 3. Include Students Already On Any Honor Roll. For all other honor rolls, this specification should be set to NO.
- Select which grade levels to run the honor roll for, and then click Next.
The Viewing Honor Roll dialog box appears, listing the students on the honor roll. Use the Grade drop-down list in the upper-right corner to view students by grade. You must view every grade level for the honor roll status to save and show on the report card.
- Click Accept [F10].
- Repeat steps 4-7 for each honor roll.
Only courses with the Count in Honor Rolls specification checked will count in the honor rolls. You can set the Count in Honor Rolls specification for a course via Report Cards > Enter Courses > View Edit Courses/Sections. Select the course, select the Count in Honor Rolls checkbox and click Accept [F10].
