New Features

Added the Students Using Standards-Based Grading Report

The new All Students Using Standards-Based Grading report can provide a list of students achieving a selected standards level. You can select any standards level within the structure established in the Standards library.

To access this report, in the TeacherPlus Management site, do the following:

  1. On the side navigation menu, click Reports.
  2. In the Default Reports group-box, the All Students Using Standards-Based Grading report is available if any course is associated with standards.

As an administrator, you can select the Standards Level, Report Card Column, and whether to Include Withdrawn Students. In addition, you can apply section and course filters, as with the All Students report.

The levels listed in the Standards Level drop-down are determined by your school's Standards library.

The USI field is serving as a placeholder. In a future update, it will become a user-defined demographic field.

Added Default Symbol for Skill/Standards Grade when No Score Exists

When Skills or Standards grades are not assessed, and your school would like a symbol to represent that, you can select a default symbol to appear on the report card.

As an administrator, you can substitute any symbol from the AdminPlus grade table for a blank Skills or Standards grade.

The symbol you select should convey "no scores available for grade calculation." For example, you could use NA or **.

Select a Skills Grade Default Symbol

To select a default symbol for Skills, in the TeacherPlus Management site, do the following:

  1. Click Skills / Standards > Skills > Marking Period Calculations.
  2. In the Default Marking Period Skills Grade When No Score Exists drop-down list, select a symbol to represent "no skills grade calculated," and then click Save.

Select a Standards Grade Default Symbol

To select a default symbol for Standards, in the TeacherPlus Management site, do the following:

  1. Click Skills / Standards > Standards > Marking Period Calculations.
  2. In the Default Marking Period Skills Grade When No Score Exists drop-down list, select a symbol to represent "no standards grade calculated," and then click Save.
