Improvements
Enhanced Security of PlusPortals' Software
We improved the security of PlusPortals' software to ensure the safety of your school's information. These improvements do not impact your experience with PlusPortals.
Added Setting for Type of Coursework to Display By Default
On the Permissions > Summary page under Assignments/Coursework, admin can choose what coursework to display by default on the Coursework panel in parent and student portals: upcoming coursework, past due coursework, all pending coursework, or completed coursework.
Updated Course Display Name Setting to Apply to Course Requests
If an admin selected the Display Course Descriptions instead of Course Names check box under Section Visibility on the Permissions > Summary page, this setting now applies to courses on the Course Requests page in teacher, student, and parent portals.
Reduced Time Required to Update Restriction List
We improved the Restriction List feature (found on the Manage Accounts > Settings page of admin accounts) to reduce the time it takes to update large restriction lists.
Feature Fixes
Fixed Lesson Planner to Display Formatting Options
Previously, some users were not seeing the formatting options when editing a lesson in Lesson Planner. This issue has been fixed.
Fixed Calendar Filtering for Parents
Previously, when parents were filtering the calendars they wanted to display, they occasionally saw teacher-only calendars in the Filter drop-down list. This issue has been fixed.
Fixed Visibility Date for Multi-section Assignments Posted to the Calendar
Previously, when teachers changed the visibility date for an assignment linked to multiple sections and posted to the calendar, the change was not applied to all sections in the calendar.
