Improvements

Added Incident Submittal Notifications

Using the Incident Notifications list, under Communication > Notifications, administrators can select users to receive e-mail alerts for disciplinary events submitted through the PlusPortals. Each grade level has an Incident Notifications list.

Under Setup > E-Mail Setup, administrators can customize the Incident Notification e-mail template.

Added Online Meetings Filters

The Online Meetings panel introduces a filter drop-down list box, allowing each user type to filter by Today's Meetings or All Meetings:

Added Parent and Student Invite Options for Online Meetings

In the Online Meeting dialog box, teachers can invite students, parents, or both to the online meeting they are scheduling.

Currently, you can only invite an entire class (and their parents) to a meeting. Future enhancements will enable scheduling meetings for individuals or selected groups of students and their parents.

Added Parent and Student Online Meetings Permissions

An Online Meetings setting is available in Student Permissions and Parent Permissions to control which user groups can see the Online Meetings panel.

Online Meetings are off for parents by default. You must activate this setting in Parent Permissions before teachers can invite parents to meetings.

When Online Meetings are active for parents, they see an individualized Online Meetings panel, showing any meetings they were invited to by a teacher. Parents can still see their student's online meetings on the Classroom page.

Improved the Quiz Modal

The quiz modal fills the browser window vertically when the quiz is active. This change improves quiz content visibility for students.

Improved the Restriction List Information Tooltip

In the last PlusPortals release, administrators gained the ability to use the Restriction List to block individual students and parents from logging in to the PlusPortals. For more information, see Added Disable Login to Restriction List. The informational tooltip for the Restriction List reflects this change.

Reduced Microsoft Teams Popup Frequency

When creating and editing Microsoft Teams meetings, PlusPortals authenticates the action with Microsoft. Previously, this resulted in a pop-up window. PlusPortals now hides the Microsoft Teams pop-up window unless authentication requires user input.

Feature Fixes

Fixed Recurring Events Not Appearing on RediSite Calendar

The calendar feed correctly formats recurring events sent to the RediSite calendar.

A future RediSite update will complete this feature fix.

Fixed Parent Portal Calendar Display

The PlusPortals calendar correctly handles multi-student households, hiding calendar events for students currently hidden from the calendar.

Fixed E-Mail Recipient Selection

The PlusPortals e-mail recipient selection function reads student usernames correctly and no longer selects more than the intended students.

Fixed the Health Questionnaire Exception Report

The Health Questionnaire Exception Report includes students without PlusPortals usernames when their parents fill out the Health Questionnaire.
