AdminPlus Version 6.1.88.01 and District/Diocesan Manager Version 3.0.42.01
We've released several new features, improvements, and feature fixes for AdminPlus and District/Diocesan Manager. Highlights of this update include:
|AdminPlus Mobile App Access||Online access to AdminPlus will be available on the new AdminPlus Mobile app coming soon! Once enabled, a new column will appear in Manager Users and the TeacherPlus sync will include more data. Authorized users will have access on the app to today's statistics, Demographics, Contacts, Attendance, Discipline, Grades, and Schedules. The new app also includes AP Notify for schools that have that subscription.|
|AdmissionsPlus Holding Bin||Customers using AdmissionsPlus have a new Holding Bin process that includes a Sync button to reduce the number of times the user needs to load the Holding Bin screen and the option to select the field used for Contact comparison.|
|APA Sponsor Field of the Primary Contact updated||After receiving from AdmissionsPlus or AdmissionsPlus Pro, the APA Sponsor field of the Primary contact will be updated|
|Student Contact Key File updated on Receive||After receiving from AdmisionsPlus or AdmissionsPlus Pro, the student contacts key file is updated without the need to Rebuild Contacts.|
|Discipline Holding Bin includes Discipline from Mobile App||Discipline entered via the AdminPlus Mobile app will be included in the Discipline Holding Bin.|
|Manage User screen columns relabeled||The Enable E-Mail column has been renamed to Enable E-Mail/AP Notify as this always gave users access to both on the desktop version. The AP Notify App Access column has been relabeled AP Mobile App Access. The AP Mobile App includes AP Notify.|
|Active and Scheduling Year available for FINACS||The Active Year and Scheduling Year will be written to a file for the FINACS program to use in dropdowns.|
|Fixed Form Delete Issue||Forms received from AdmissionsPlus to AdminPlus can now be deleted.|
|Fixed Student Picture Import||In rare situations when receiving students from AdmissionsPlus, the photo had been applied to the wrong student.|
|Fixed Household Lookup Compare||The Household Compare screen for receiving prospects from OLF now has the Current Student's DB field values.|
|Fixed link to Rediker Support||Help > Rediker Support Webex has been replaced with Rediker Support.|
|District/Diocesan Manager: Improvements|
|Added more detail to Global Contacts error message||Error message updated to specify the exact path or filename that is generating the error to identify if the problem is with the source or destination file.|
|District/Diocesan Manager: Feature Fixes|
|Fixed District Control school display||When the user open DM > Tools > Select Schools and Years and updates the school selections it will sync only the years selection status to AP District Control|
|Fixed the Student Distribution by Grade Level Report||The Student Distribution by Grade Level report now includes non-binary genders.|
AdminPlus: New Features
Enable AdminPlus Mobile App
- Setup > General > Enable Mobile App Access
The following message will appear after enabling Mobile App Access
- Once Mobile App Access is enabled the Manage Home Users screen will include a column to allow users to have AP Mobile App Access. File > User/Security (Enhanced) > Manage Users:
NOTE: When AP Mobile App Access is selected the program will validate the current password and prompt the user to change, if the current password does not obey the following rules:
At least one lowercase letter
At least one uppercase letter
At least one number
A minimum of 8 characters
- No two AP users can have the same E-Mail Address. The "E-Mail Address" and "Enable E-Mail/AP Notify" columns will be pre-populated from the E-Mail Settings screen and will be saved in the same record. Editing in the Users screen will reflect in the E-Mail Settings screen and visa versa.
When the Manage Home Users screen is closed, a sync process will be initiated to sync AdminPlus user information to the cloud.
- Tools > TeacherPlus Setup & Sync Manager > Send Sync Settings > Enable AdminPlus Notify for Mobile App
This option will be disabled if the school does not have an AP Notify license. The option can be set to "Yes" only if the Mobile App Access is enabled under Setup >General > Enable Mobile App access, else the following message is shown.
When the AP Notify option is selected, the student and staff DB fields required for AP Notify will be automatically added to DB field settings for syncing.
Sync is started automatically when this new spec option is enabled or disabled for syncing AP Notify specifications.
- Tools > TeacherPlus Setup & Sync Manager > Demographic Fields can be used to add additional demographic fields for use in the AdminPlus app.
AdmissionsPlus.com Holding Bin
Customers that have AdmissionsPlus.com have a new Holding Bin
A Sync button has been added in the new holding bin to enable a sync without closing the screen. After the sync the holding bin will be reloaded.
We've also added a Contact Comparison feature so the user can set to match on Home Telephone, Mobile or E-Mail:
APA Sponsor of the Primary Contact updated
Receiving from AdmissionsPlus will update the APA Sponsor field of the Primary Contact being received.
Student Contact Key File updated on receive
The SuberDB table key file of imported students will get updated when imported from AdmissionsPlus Pro or AdmissionsPlus without having to Rebuild SuperDB key files.
Discipline Holding Bin includes Discipline from AdminPlus Mobile App
Changes have been done in AdminPlus > Discipline > Incidents > Holding Bin to download incidents entered in AdminPlus App. The incidents entered via the app will be shown in the "Mobile Apps" option of the Holding Bin screen. The program name will be shown as "AdminPlus App" in the screen and in the log files (holding bin log and incident audit log).

Active and Scheduling Year written for FINACS
The Active and Scheduling Year will be written to a file for FINACS to use in year dropdown. The year will be written when the AP Accounting spec is access from CustDB > SOS Specification and also while sending the data to the export files after any edit in the Home screen.
AdminPlus: Feature Fixes
Fix Form Delete Issue
Corrected the issue of not being able to delete forms from AdmissionsPlus holding bin.
Fixed Student Picture Import
Corrected an issue when receiving students from AdmissionsPlus that applied a student photo to the wrong student.
Fixed Household Lookup Compare
