We've released several new features, improvements, and feature fixes for PlusPortals. Highlights of this update include:

New Features
Add to Restriction List based on a Demographic field.
New options have been added to Account Management Settings so Administrators can add students and or their parents to the restriction list based on a student demographic field.
Add Parents by DB Field will restrict a Parent's access to all their students. The Add Students by DB field has the option to also Restrict Contacts, in this case, the contact will be prevented from viewing that particular student's information.
The criteria to Add Parents by DB Field or Add Students by DB Field are independent of each other.
Click View to see the list of users meeting the criteria. Click Done to add these users to the Restriction List.
The user will be removed from the list when they no longer match the defined criteria. If the DB criteria is changed the new list will replace those added before by DB criteria but will not replace those manually added.
Schedule E-mails
Administrators and teachers have the option to schedule e-mails to be sent up to 3 days later. Select the day, enter a Send Time and click Send. The email will not be sent until the scheduled time (based on user's device).
The e-mail will appear on the Scheduled e-mail box. Click View to see the details including the Send On Date and Time
Save will save the E-mail as a draft and the scheduled information will be discarded.
If scheduled E-mails are edited they will be moved to Drafts and the schedule information will be discarded.
Demographic Update Notifications
Using Demographic Updates Notifications, under Communications > Notifications, Administrators can select Admin users to receive e-mail alerts when demographic updates have been submitted through PlusPortals. Each grade level has a notification list.
PlusPortalAdmin prompt for name and e-mail
The PlusPortalAdmin will be prompted to enter their contact information for PlusPortals Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This e-mail will also be used by Rediker Software to send PlusPortals update announcements. This additional contact information will appear on the bottom of the Edit Profile page in addition to the Admin First Name, Admin Last Name and Default From E-mail.
Resources can be sent to RediSite
School Resources added in PlusPortals and set to Show on Login Page (Public) can be sent to RediSite via the API.
Improvements
Period Attendance View for Teachers
A new option has been added to Permissions for Administrators to allow Teachers to view Period Attendance on the Student Tab. This option is off by default.
If enabled Teachers will be able to select a Student from their Class and see the Period Attendance Totals. Click the arrow to expand the view to see the detail.
Co-Teachers included in Add Recipient list
Parents and Students will have the option to e-mail Co-Teachers, as well as, Teachers assigned to their courses. Co-Teachers are indicated by an asterisk before their name.
Co-Teachers included in Assignment Submission E-mail
Assignment Submission E-mails will be sent to teachers and co-teachers.
Display Name for Global Reply Address
Administrators can add a Display Name for Global Reply Addresses under Setup > Global Reply Addresses. Click the Edit icon on the right to update the Global Reply Address or Display Name on the top left and Save changes.
Groups can include Non-Teaching Staff
Added an option under Setup > Groups > Group Members > Staff so Staff members with APIDs from ST301 to ST600 can be included. This is set to No by default.
