Set a User's Evaluation Permissions

You can give any individual user permissions to evaluate all users in groups they belong to, all users in a school, and individual users. You can also give all users in groups they belong to, all users in a school, and individual users permission to evaluate them.

Please note this is a feature that should only be used in special situations. By default the Administrator and Group Head Accounts have permissions to evaluate users and departments. As this screen indicates, watch out, as editing permissions for evaluating users can have unintended side effects.

If you have a mentor teacher, it is unnecessary to give that user evaluation rights, instead when launching an evaluation use the Mentor option instead.

  1. On the navigation bar, click Accounts > View all accounts.
  2. Search for the user, > click their name.
  3. At the top of the user's page, click Edit Permissions.
  4. On the Evaluation permissions page, do either of the following:
    • To choose who the user can evaluate, remain on the This user can evaluate tab.
    • To choose who can evaluate the user, click the Who can evaluate this user tab.
  1. Click any of the following tabs:
    • Schools
    • Departments (Groups)
    • Users
  1. Double-click a list item to move it between the Cannot evaluate and Can evaluate lists.

On the Who can evaluate this user tab, group heads in groups the user belongs to are not listed on the Can evaluate list of the Users tab.
