Exports: Student

Exports > Student is used to export student database information into Excel. Each Report has a different combination of settings for the report.

Filter the Reports List based on module - Database, Attendance, Report Cards, Scheduling, or Incidents.

Search for a report by name.

Select a report from the Report List.

Which Dates to Include? to select the Date Range for Incidents to include on the Incidents List .  The default date range is today's date.

Which Students?

  • All Students within a selected Grade Level range and Status
  • Select from a View

Which Fields to Include? 


The Which Fields to Include section options varies by report.

  • Student Data: Demographic Fields
  • Student Data with Contacts: One Contact Per Row, Demographic Fields, Relationship, Contact Fields
  • Master Contact: Contact Fields
  • Daily Attendance (Student): Include Day 0?, Include DB Fields (From Common Specs)?
  • Period Attendance: Include DB Fields (From Common Specs)?
  • Student Transcript: Include DB Fields (From Common Specs)?, Include Skill Grades, Include Section Length
  • Student Schedule: Include DB Fields (From Common Specs)?, Include Extended Information?
  • Student Career Totals: Include DB Fields (From Common Specs)?
  • Student Skills: Include DB Fields (From Common Specs)?
  • Incident List Report (One Row Per Incident):  Code Only, Description Only, or Code and Description, Include DB Fields (From Common Specs)? 
  • Payments:  Charges, Payments, Charges and Payments, Include DB Fields (From Common Specs)?
Note: Include DB Fields (From Common Specs)? are database fields selected in Common Specifications in AdminPlus.com.

Output Format Include Which Headers?
  • Report Header Check to include a Report Header with the School Name and Report Name.
  • Column Header Check to include Column Headers.

Download to export the report to Excel.

Common Specifications

Student and Staff Database fields in include in exports can be selected in Common Specifications.  These specifications are independent from the selections made in classic.

Export > Student/Staff Data Tasks

Export for Student Data and Staff Data includes the ability to save the filters and layouts as Tasks for frequently used exports. These Tasks are independent of Views in classic. 


  1. Create New Task to enter a Task Name and Save
  2. Select Which Students? and Which Fields to Include? then Save or Download to Save.
  3. Task Options include Save As to make a copy, Rename, or Delete
