We've released several improvements, and feature fixes for PlusPortals. Highlights of this update include:

Improvements
Restrict multiple sessionsFor added security multiple sessions by different users can not be opened in the same browser.
DonorPerfect API changesChanges have been made based on customer feedback to mapping for Address, Title, and Country.
Feature Fixes
Scheduling Year display issuesScheduling year students were displaying in the Directory for schools that were sending scheduling year data for the new Online Forms.  It also caused students to display twice in the Course Request list.  This has been corrected.
Date mismatchThere was a display issue on Attendance date if the user's computer date was different than the school's.  This has been fixed to show the correct attendance dates irrespective of the time zone offset.
Schedule Day Display issueIf preceding spaces existed in the Day name in AdminPlus the day was not displaying on the mobile app spaces are now ignored.  If Day name is blank then the defaults Day1 to Day5 will display.

Improvements

Restrict Multiple Sessions

For added security multiple sessions by different users can't be opened in the same browser.  This includes the PlusPortalAdmin so when they use the "Login As" feature it will open in the tab they are in rather than opening in another tab.  If another session is opened on another tab by another user, then the first tab will have this message.

DonorPerfect API Changes

After discussions with several customers and DonorPerfect we've made three changes to the API mapping.

  • The Address mapping has flipped.  Previously Line 1 & Line 2 were mapped to Address and Address was mapped to Address 2 because it is proper to put the apartment above the Address.  However, DonorPerfect has an add-on called TrueGiver that verifies the Address field so that needs to be the Street address and not the apartment since very few customers use Line1 & Line 2 we have made that change.
  • If a Title exists in DonorPerfect (ex. Mr. & Mrs.) then it won't be overwritten by the Administrator's Plus value.  This was done because many customers set up DonorPerfect with couples instead of individual users.
  • If a Country exists in DonorPerfect then it won't be overwritten by a blank value from Administrator's Plus.  This was done because very few customers fill out the Country field in Administrator's Plus but do often have a value in DonorPerfect.

To change the address for all Contacts that have already been sent to DonorPerfect, send them again by going to Setup > DonorPerfect Online > Contacts, filter the contact list by Last Send Time, select the contacts, and click Send Contacts to DonorPerfect.
