Editing by module for AdminPlus.com

Selecting to edit a module in AdminPlus.com will turn off edit features for that module in classic Administrator's Plus, so before switching please be sure to check the features you use are currently available in AdminPlus.com. Please read this article for details on what features are not yet available on AdminPlus.com.  

Schools that have not yet been set up for edit and want to use edit features in AdminPlus.com must email [email protected] to request access to the AdminPlus.com Settings screen in classic, which allows the Supervisor to select by module to edit in classic AdminPlus or AdminPlus.com. We will set up a service that runs in the background to bring changes back to classic Administrator’s Plus and let you know when it is ready.  

The decision to edit in AdminPlus.com depends on what features your school uses. If your school uses any of the features listed below, please continue to edit in classic Administrator's Plus until the feature is added to AdminPlus.com.

Enrollment

Demographics

  • Demographic Batch Erase
  • Edit DB History
  • SIF Reporting
  • Picture Plus Utilities 
  • Special validated fields: Derived, Conditional Derived, Primary Validated Fields, Secondary Validated Field, Contact Primary Validated Fields, Contact Secondary Validated Fields

Schools using SOS Modules (SNAP, Sustain, FINACS classic etc) would need to periodically run a manual export if they select to edit in AdminPlus.com because changes are not happening in classic.

Contacts

  • Import Contacts

Multi-School organizations that share households with other schools in the organization should wait to edit Demographics and Contacts until their shared households have been set up in AdminPlus.com. An ellipsis icon appears next to the school’s name if the setup is completed for your organization.

SuperDB

  • Import SuperDB
  • SuperDB Batch Add/Edit/Erase

Portfolio

  • Email Portfolio
  • Batch update

Attendance

  • Swiper mode (mode - replaces existing code, enters current time, and prints Tardy Slips)
  • Manually apply daily attendance to period attendance
  • Period Attendance duplicate option in manual entry
  • Period Attendance Batch Entry
  • Receive Attendance from file

Incidents

  • Extended Discipline
  • From Period Attendance

Scheduling

  • Edit Extended Course Information

Currently, some features can continue to be completed in classic regardless of edit selection:

  • Create/Edit Lookups
  • Create/Edit Contact Views
  • Create/Edit SuperDB Views
  • Create/Edit Portfolio Views
  • Create Skills and link them to courses
  • Enter Study Hall
  • Report Cards, Calculate Average, Statistical Reports, and Honor Roll
  • Portfolio items can still be added via classic reports and bulk imported using the AP_Receive Portfolio Tool


Setup features will come later but can still be completed in classic even if editing is selected in AdminPlus.com:
