Logins and Accounts

Only authorized individuals can log in and make edits to your website. Only Rediker can create new user logins. We recommend limiting the number of website editors to 1-3 individuals.

Adding New Users

If you need to grant access to a new user:

  1. Have an authorized account contact send a request to Rediker Support at support@rediker.com with the following information about the new user: Full Name, Position, and Email Address
  2. The person will receive an email invitation from RediSite (noreply@redisite.com) to access your website. 
  3. The email will include an activation link for setting up the account password. Click the link set your password. 

    If you already have a login, you can access your website's content management system and editor, at the following link: www.redisite.com/login

Removing or Deactivating Users

When a person leaves your school and you need to remove their access, have an authorized account contact send a request to Rediker Support at support@rediker.com with the following information about the user to be deactivated: Full Name, Position, and Email Address

Accessing Your Account Settings:

  1. Log in to your RediSite account at www.redisite.com/login to access the Dashboard.
  2. In the upper right corner, hover your mouse over the Person  icon.
  3. Select Account from the drop-down menu.
  4. In the Profile section, you can change the First name and Last name associated with the account.
  5. In the Login info section:
    • Click Change Email to change the email address where important notifications, stats, news, and updates are sent. Type the current password, and new email in the boxes provided.
      This email address is also the account’s username used to log into the account. 
    • To change the password used to log into the account, click Change Password, and type the current password and new password in the boxes provided.
  6. Click Save.

Language

You have the option to modify the default language used within the platform editor. To do this, hover your mouse over the Person  icon located in the upper right corner of the screen, then hover your cursor over the currently displayed language (which is English by default). A list of the additional languages will open:

Permissions

Only Rediker can update user permissions. To request an update to user permissions, contact Rediker Support at support@rediker.comRediSite also doesn't allow assigning editing rights on a per-page basis. All editors on your website will have access to edit all pages, but you have the option to configure their permissions for limited editing, restricting them to modifying existing content and widgets only. You also have the option to prevent specific users from republishing content.

Forgot Password

If you forgot your password:

  1. Go to www.redisite.com/login
  2. Click on Forgot Password?
  3. Then enter your email.
  4. Check your email for the password reset (the email will come from "RediSite" noreply@redisite.com)
