Link Requirements to Grade Levels

Most schools only need 1 Program because Admissions allows you to link Requirements to specific Grade Levels. If there is a Requirement that is not required for every Grade Level, this linking allows you to specify which Grade Levels the Requirement is for.

For example: a transcript is probably not required for elementary school prospects, but it is required for high school prospects.

To Link Requirements to Grade Levels:

  1. Click the Setup button
  2. Select the Admissions Process tab, and click on ANY Requirement that has already been added to a Step in your Program.
  3. Click the Link Grade Levels button at the top right.
  4. On this screen, you can uncheck any Requirement for any Grade Level. Use the scroll bar at the bottom to see the rest of your Grade Levels. If you have a Step whose Requirements are applicable for ALL Grade Levels, you can minimize that section (use the > next to the Step).
This screenshot shows the Transcript Requirement not required for grades PK-4th grade.
  5. Click Save.

Any Requirement that has been unchecked will no longer appear in the Admissions work flow screen for any prospect applying for that Grade Level.

Notice that the 6th Grade Prospect has 3 additional Requirements that the Kindergarten Prospect does not have. That is a direct result of Linking Requirements to Grade Levels.
