One Student: Snapshot

The Student Snapshot displays the student record through multiple widgets. Please refer to the diagram and table below for additional information about the widgets.

Only schools that have been set up to edit and have selected to edit the module in AdminPlus.com will be able to use the add/edit features for that module. Edit features are only available if the AdminPlus Supervisor has requested edit from [email protected] and has selected to edit in AdminPlus.com.

The Profile widget displays the student's picture, name, address, APID and up to three additional demographic fields. If the student has any alerts there will be an alert icon in the banner to view the details of the alert(s).Click the gear icon  to select the demographic fields to display.

Edit Student Data: Select the edit icon. Users can add a new or edit an existing photo by hovering over their existing photo. Select the Edit icon. This will open the photo editor, where you have the options to crop or resize the image, delete the current photo, or upload a new student photo.

E-Mail a Student: Select the e-mail icon . The E-Mail window will open. The email will be sent to the student, with the option to CC Contacts of This Student, Teachers of This Student, Staff, and Admin Users. Attachments can be added to the E-Mail. A copy of the email sent can also be saved in the Portfolio by selecting  .
E-mails are sent from [email protected]. The default Display As name is the user’s Administrator's Plus username, but this can be changed by clicking on the gear icon   on the top right of the email. A reply to email can also be specified.

Contacts display the names of the student's contacts. Contacts with an next to their name live with the student. To view the members of the student's household, click the Household icon. The number is the total number of members for that Household including the student. Click the expand icon to open the Contacts tab to view/edit contact information.
Click the plus icon  to add a new contact.

Daily Attendance displays the student's attendance statistics on the left for the selected date range, today's attendance on the right, and the last attendance underneath. Click on the comment icon to view today's attendance comment. Click on the gear icon to change the selected date range. Click on the expand icon to open the Attendance tab to view/edit Daily Attendance or Period Attendance detail

Schedule displays the student's current class, the class before, and after. Select to choose either Grid or Line Schedule. Click the expand icon to open the Schedule tab to view their schedule in Grid or Line Format.

Current Day defaults to 1 to 5 (Monday to Friday). If your school has a different number of days, then change the Current Day.

Privacy Mode allows users to hide any information displayed. An Eye icon is visible in each widget. When Privacy Mode is on, a strikethrough will appear over the eye and Privacy Mode ON. Click on the eye iconto display the data.
Click the gear icon to edit the Privacy Mode settings.

Demographics display up to ten demographic fields.
Click the gear icon to select the demographic fields. Click the expand icon to open the Demographics tab to view/edit demographics.

Report Cards displays the student's Report Card data for up to 2 Marking Periods. To choose which Marking Periods to use, select . Click the expand icon to view Report Card grades and comments

Latest Portfolio Files displays the most current portfolio file information.
Click the preview icon to view the portfolio record. Click the expand icon to open the Portfolio tab to view/edit Portfolio records.

Incident Summary displays the summary for the selected date range.
Click the gear icon to change the custom date range for Incident and Action Summary.
Click the expand icon to open the Incidents tab to view/edit incidents and actions.

GPA's & Credits displays the student's Credits, Adjusted and Simple, GPA, Quality Points and WeightClick the expand icon to open the Report Card tab to view/edit grades.

Action Summary displays the summary for the selected date range. To change the custom date range for Incident and Action Summary click the gear icon . Click the expand icon to open the Incidents tab to view/edit incidents and actions.

Edit Student

To edit a student's profile including information such as Grade Level, Name, Calendar, Primary Language, and Household ID, or to inactivate a student, select the edit icon . The Edit Student window will open:

Student Name, Grade, APID, and Unique ID are listed here. Select to edit their grade level.
To delete the student, select .
Delete should only be used if the student was added in error. If the student is withdrawing from the school, please use inactivate.

Student First, Middle and Last Name are entered and can be updated here. Users can add a new photo or edit an existing one by hovering over the student photo. Select the Edit icon that appears. This will open the photo editor You can crop or resize the image, delete the current photo, or upload a new student photo.
Maximum photo size is 1MB.

  • Calendar: Master School Calendar will be selected by default. If your school has created an alternate calendar, that option will be available for selection. 
  • Language for Reports: Select the primary language for the student reports.

  • Entry Date: Date the student entered the school
  • Entry Code: The Code explains why the student entered the school. Example: In State Transfer.
  • Withdrawal Date: The date a student has been withdrawn from the school.
  • Withdrawal Code: The Code explains why the student was withdrawn from the school. Example: Left District

Household ID: Select to assign or update a Household ID. The Assign Household ID window will open.

  • Select Inactive to withdraw the student. Enter in a Withdrawal Date and Code.
  • Select Cancel to close the Edit Student window.
  • Select Save to save the changes.
