Contacts Card List Widget

A custom widget with many adjustable content and design features. This widget uses compact cards to display your staff list which can include their Photo, Name, and Position. The cards will be clickable, opening a pop-up along with options to display their email and or department tag. Great for displaying a directory of your staff from your Rediker AdminPlus database.

To add a Contacts Card List Widget to a Page:

  1. Open the Widgets Panel (+)
  2. Search for Contacts Card
  3. Drag and Drop the Contacts Card List Widget on to the page

    Do not just click on the widget. This will place the widget in a random location. Be sure to drag it to the desired location.

  4. Add content and adjust features as desired.
    • Add People as needed under the People List
    • The Content includes Name, Role, Image, and Contact Info.

This widget was specifically designed to connect to your AdminPlus/PlusPortals Staff Directory.

To Connect this Widget to a Collection:

  1. Access the widget settings, either Right Click the widget or choose the Gear from the widget editor.
  2. Choose Connect/Connected Data
  3. Set the Connect People to option to your desired collection like your PlusPortals Staff Directory
  4. Map/Connect the fields to the appropriate widget display item like Name to ProperName and Role to Position. Note not all fields will be used.
  5. Optional: Choose Filter & sort to set a sort or fixed filter on the widget. This would allow you to sort by Name (Last,First) or filter by a department. 
  6. Click Done

When connected to your AdminPlus/PlusPortals Staff Directory there are settings in your PlusPortals that control certain options. In PlusPortals go to Permissions and look under Directory for RediSite Directory Feed options. See this solutions article for more details. Once the connection is established, editing and syncing your data from AdminPlus will automatically update the widget.
