AdminPlus.com Release 7.5

We've released several new features, improvements, and feature fixes for AdminPlus.com. An update to classic Administrator's Plus was also released. Highlights of this update include:

New Features
View Scheduling YearIf the Administrator's Plus Supervisor has enabled the Scheduling Year for AdminPlus.com on the settings screen in classic, it will now be visible to users.
Edit Scheduling YearIf the Administrator’s Plus Supervisor has enabled editing in the Scheduling year, Students and Staff can be added to/edited in the scheduling year, courses can be managed, Online Forms/Registration Forms can be received, as well as new student from Admissions.
Student Demographic ImportUsers can now update existing student data with the Student Demographic Import.
Staff Demographic ImportExisting Staff Data can now be updated with the Staff Demographic Import. 
Period Attendance Search ListOn the School > Period Attendance Tab, a new attendance report Search List has been added.
New Export Added Course List with Skills Export has been added.
Improvements
Daily Attendance Reports Design ChangesThe design on the Daily Attendance Reports has been updated.
Default Settings moved for Student/Staff Import The Default Settings option now appears on the Import From File for Student/Staff screen.
Feature Fixes
Latest Portfolio Widget Items Not LoadingPortfolio items were not populating in the Latest Portfolio Widget. This has been resolved.
Time Linked Attendance Codes

Attendance codes that were time-linked to another code before a specific time were not appearing. This issue has been resolved.

Sent E-Mail ListE-mails with a large number of recipients were were not displaying on the Sent E-Mails List even though they appeared as Last Sent on the Sent E-Mails Tile under Send > Sent E-Mails.
E-Mail_Date Code Format UpdatedWhen the E-Mail_Date code is used in the body of an email, the date will follow the format specified by the school.

New Features

View Scheduling Year

If the Administrator's Plus Supervisor has activated the Scheduling Year in AdminPlus.com, it will now be visible in the dropdown. Scheduling Year will also display to the right.

Edit Scheduling Year

If the Administrator’s Plus Supervisor has enabled editing in the Scheduling Year, the following can be completed:

Daily Attendance, Period Attendance, Grades, and Incidents are all disabled in the Scheduling Year. Payments are also disabled in the Scheduling Year for this release but will be enabled in the future. All 5 modules (Enrollment, Demographics, Contacts, Portfolio, SuperDB) are required to be set to edit in AdminPlus.com in order to receive Admissions and Registration Forms in the Scheduling Year. 

  • Staff and students can be added.

    Importing new students into the Active Year imports them into both the Active and Scheduling Years, whereas importing new students into the Scheduling Year only adds them to the Scheduling Year.

  • Staff and students can be edited.
  • Courses and sections can be managed.
  • Staff and students can be scheduled.
  • Online Forms and Registration Forms can be received.
  • Admissions can be processed.
  • Emails can be sent to students, contacts, and staff.
  • Exports for lists, students, and staff can be performed.

When selecting Receive Changes in classic Administrator's Plus under Tools > TeacherPlus Setup and Sync Manager > Receive Changes, it will receive the changes for both the active and scheduling years.

Student Demographic Import

Existing Student data can now be batch updated with the Student Demographic Import.

Staff Demographic Import

Existing Staff data can now be batch updated with the Staff Demographic Import.

For more information about updating existing Staff demographic information, see School Demographics: Staff Demographics Import.

Period Attendance Search List


On the School > Period Attendance Tab, a new attendance report Search List has been added. Search for students who were not present during each period within a specified date range, with additional sorting options available.

New Export Added

Course List with Skills has been added under Export > List > Course List with Skills. This export displays the Course Number, Course Name and Skill Code & Description. The data exported is based on the Start and End Course Number entered, along with the course status. Only courses linked to skills will export to Excel.

Improvements

Daily Attendance Reports Design Changes

The design on the Daily Attendance Reports has been updated to the lighter report design used on the Period Attendance Reports.

Default Settings moved for Student/Staff Import

On New Student and Staff Import the Default Settings appear on the import screen so they can be view and changed if needed. The Default Settings (Entry Code, Entry Date, Primary Language, and Default Household) settings have been added to the Import Log


Feature Fixes

Latest Portfolio Widget Items Not Loading

Portfolio items were not appearing in the Latest Portfolio Widget. This issue has been fixed.

Time Linked Attendance Codes
